WHO IS POCKETKNIFE?

Karl Sundquist, Jill Burkes, Rob Wheeler, Josh Palmi and Sam Papin have been writing music together in Northern Minnesota in over lapping projects over the past 15 years.  The musicians came together to form Pocketknife to bring all their collective talents towards writing americana songs with the grit of rock and lyrics of folk music.  They recorded songs in preparation of a full length album at Birch Bay Studios in Babbitt, MN.  The songs were produced by the band and Christopher David Hanson.  The band released an EP "Rivard Road Sessions" in April of 2022 that is available on digital outlets.   The band has toured throughout the Midwest and Montana.
